Vision recognition is a relatively new technology for consumer products. If you have a PlayStation Eye or an Xbox Kinect you have probably experienced this kind of technology at least a little bit. When your game console recognizes you when you enter the living room, you’ve got a whole new way of playing, exercising, and dancing with your friends! Really cool stuff. EyeCue is a small company based in Israel. Their CEO is Ronen Horovitz. I have had the pleasure of working with him in years past, and it has been a wonderful experience. Here’s an excerpt from their home page:

One of the many reasons to be excited about this technology is that it is software based, which means you don’t have to invest in expensive hardware. Lego is already putting out toys in the market with this technology.
